Personalize Your Trailer to the Square Inch!
Your journey to the perfect foundation for your tiny house starts with a consultation with Sharon Read, founder of Seattle Tiny Homes/Small For All. You’ll discuss your tiny home design and together figure out the trailer that best meets your goals. Your trailer will be personalized with just the right length and axle placement – giving you the ideal weight distribution for your tiny house (which makes towing safer and easier). Your trailer also comes with a FREE one-hour consultation with our building supervisor to answer any questions you have! Prices start at $4,300 with the insulated sub-floor already installed.
Each of our Small For All trailers comes with these benefits:
A Foundation for Safety and Stability
Our heavy-duty trailers are engineered for one thing – tiny homes. Due to our special design, your home will sit low inside the framework, giving you optimum safety and stability. High-grade steel maximizes strength while minimizing weight.
Pre-Installed Floor Makes Your Job Easier
Your trailer comes with a pre-installed and insulated sub-floor that takes full advantage our unique design and is topped with high-grade plywood. This allows you to maximize your trailer’s extra space – and it’s a great head start on your build. We also pre-drill the holes needed to attach your home to the frame, so you don’t need special metal cutting tools. An added benefit is that your floor is insulated all the way to the walls, something not possible with some trailer designs.
A solid metal floor can attract moisture, leading to mold and rust. That’s why we use an integrated steel framework coupled with a special moisture/rodent barrier and marine grade plywood for additional protection. We insulate the floor with rigid foam board sealed with spray foam and caulking.
Give Yourself More Space
Because of its special engineering, you can build over the wheel wells of your trailer. This gives you 12-18 inches of extra width. Because the floor is dropped inside the trailer frame, you gain up to six inches of headroom. You will definitely notice the extra space!
A Better Approach to Siding
Avoid leaving an unsightly view of the trailer at your home’s base. The special design of a Small For All trailer makes it simple to entirely sheath your home in siding so the base of the trailer doesn’t show. An added benefit of our design is that your siding will not touch the trailer, helping to prevent rot if your siding is wood or corrosion if your siding is metal.
Choose the Best Axle for You
You have three axle options for your Small For All trailer: drop axles, straight axles, or off-road axles. Each one has pluses and minuses. We’ll consult with you to make the right choice. All our axle options are heavy duty or commercial grade axles – designed to withstand years of wear and tear.
Rated for heavy use, this jack makes hitching and unhitching easier. Because of its placement, you can also build your house as far over the tongue as possible.
Adjust Your Coupler
Small For All trailers come with an adjustable coupler, which means you can raise or lower the part that hitches to your vehicle. You can use a hitch of almost any height to pull your tiny home. You also don’t need to purchase a special hitch to make your load level.
Each trailer has electric independent brakes, plus all the necessary lights. You’ll also benefit from radial tires instead of bias tires. They’re designed for heavier loads and longer distances, wearing down slower than normal tires.
Say No to Rust
Your trailer will come with an industrial paint designed to inhibit rust. For maximum resistance, you can opt to galvanize your trailer (submerging it in molten zinc for a complete protective coating). Pricing is $1000-$4,000, depending on trailer size.
Gooseneck, Fifth Wheel, and Removable Hitches
You can make your trailer a gooseneck or a fifth wheel for an additional $995-$1,800. This can be a great option for larger trailers and provide additional building space. Also, all trailer hitches can be configured to be removable for an additional $995.
Warranty & VIN
Your Seattle Tiny Homes trailer comes with a two-year warranty on the structure and axles. In addition, you receive the trailer’s title and VIN number so you can register, finance, and insure it on its own.
