Licensee’s Assumption of Risk and Local Building Code Obligation: Purchaser assumes the risk of using the license. The Plans assume general construction knowledge, including but not limited to framing, roofing, plumbing, and electrical knowledge. You solely assume any and all risks with respect to the construction of your home from the Plans.
Purchaser agrees to comply with all local building codes and regulations. The Plans are designed to satisfy generally accepted professional standards and practices, but have not been checked for compliance with any specific site or local codes. Local and state building regulations vary by region and change over time, so complete conformance to the requirements of all purchasers is infeasible. Therefore, Seattle Tiny Homes, Inc. authorizes the sale and use of the Plans expressly conditioned upon the purchaser’s obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all applicable codes, regulations, ordinances, and requirements.
It is the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure that the Plans meet with your local building codes and regulations before beginning the construction of any structure. Please call your local building department before placing an order as Plans may have to be engineered to meet local building codes. Please note that certain states require the services and seal of an architect registered in that state. Our Plans are not designed to meet Earthquake Seismic/Hurricane/Wind codes.
