After a hot day on the beach in Oahu, there’s nothing like a cool Hawaiian shaved ice from the Holo Holo Snack Shack. The stand is owned by Melissa, who decided her business needed to be mobile to grow. But, can you use a tiny home for business?
Getting Started
Melissa had heard on the island that Seattle Tiny Homes offers the best quality tiny home trailers and would customize one to meet the unique needs of her portable snack shack business. Her specifications were exacting – she needed a trailer customized down to the quarter inch, both width and length!
After phone calls, emails, and texts, Melissa and Sharon from Seattle Tiny Homes worked out all the details. Melissa’s trailer was ordered with customized specifications. Upon delivery, the Seattle Tiny Homes crew installed the floor. We then shrink-wrapped the trailer to protect it in transit across the ocean. When everything was ready, we delivered it to a west coast port and the next week it arrived in Hawaii.
Melissa was delighted with her trailer and her contractor found it easy to build on the floor we had installed. Her dream came true. If you are ever on the island of Oahu, find her Holo Holo Snack Shack and let us know if it isn’t just the best shaved ice you’ve ever had. We hear the Nuuana Lychee is delicious.
And thank you, Melissa, for all the referrals you’ve given us. It was our pleasure to play a small role in your success.
